06.03.20 The 3rd Practice for Developing a Mature and Responsible Approach to Commitment as You Wait
3. Practise Faithfulness through your Daily Conduct
As you wait, practise faithfulness in the responsibilities already entrusted to you. Be punctual, honour your word and follow through on promises, even when it becomes inconvenient. Consistent reliability in small duties forms the foundation for greater responsibilities. Luke 16:10 asserts that a person who is faithful in little will also be faithful in much.
Daily faithfulness develops discipline, stability and dependability, all of which are essential for sustaining a covenant commitment. Being careless with present responsibilities indicates that you will struggle with future obligations. On the other hand, being consistently faithful demonstrates your readiness to carry the weight of a lifelong commitment with integrity and responsibility.
