06.02.20 The 1st Practice for Developing Personal Purpose, Direction and Vision as You Wait
1. Clarify Your Purpose
During your season of waiting, take time to understand the work God is leading you to pursue and the contribution your life is meant to make. Pay attention to what consistently engages you and produces meaningful results, as this can signal your purpose. Avoid pursuing a calling simply because it works for someone else. Honestly examine your current routine. What is it producing? Are your daily efforts moving you forward, or are you comfortable but stagnant with nothing new to show? Reorganise your time and attention so that activities that align with your purpose are prioritised and consistently acted upon, rather than postponed. If necessary, adjust the way you use time, finances and effort so that you remain focused on your calling. Let these adjustments support your purpose, rather than being driven by pressure, comparison or the expectations of others. The Bible teaches that God created and predestined each of us for a specific purpose. See what Ephesians 2:10 says ( ): “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
