Purpose
This tool helps you evaluate whether a prospective partner demonstrates the forgiveness, emotional healing, emotional stability, discernment and maturity necessary for a healthy and enduring marriage relationship.
Instructions
Rate the prospective partner against each of the following indicators based on your observations, interactions and experiences. Circle the score that best reflects your assessment.

Interpreting Your Score
| Score Range | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| 41–50 | Strong Evidence of Emotional Healing and Forgiveness. The person demonstrates emotional maturity, stability, forgiveness and readiness to build a healthy marriage relationship. |
| 31–40 | Generally Positive but Requires Further Observation. The person demonstrates several encouraging qualities, though some areas require further observation, discussion or clarification. |
| 21–30 | Proceed with Caution. Signs of unresolved emotional wounds, inconsistent forgiveness or emotional instability may still be present. Additional observation and counsel are advisable. |
| 10–20 | Significant Concerns Regarding Emotional Healing. The person demonstrates multiple indicators of unresolved pain, emotional baggage or limited capacity to forgive. Serious caution is advised. |
