What is Nurturing Behaviour?
Nurturing behaviour refers to a person’s active, intentional, consistent and proactive actions to provide emotional, physical and practical support for another person’s well-being; thereby promoting growth, demonstrating care and ultimately creating a trusting environment where both partners feel valued, seen and safe. In that regard, nurturing behaviour ultimately strengthens the long-term trust between the two individuals.
