Introducing Building Trust

‘Building trust’ is one of the greatest pillars in a courtship and marriage relationship. Emotions may rise, schedules could change and life may present its demands; but in all that and much more, trust is the foundation that keeps a relationship stable through the storms and turbulences of life. That said, many people enter marriage under the pretext that affection, shared values and good intentions indicate trust, only to be grossly disappointed when such an assumption fails. On that premise, the critical importance of trust cannot be overemphasised.

In this chapter, I will briefly share on how ‘building trust’ works our marriage. Using on the fictitious story of Roland and Christine combined with the biblical account of Joseph and Mary, we will share insights on evaluating a prospective partner’s approach to trust; and how to develop trustworthy habits as you wait.
