09.01.20 The 1st Practice for Developing Individuality While Building Unity as You Wait

1. Establish a Clear and Confident Personal Identity

Identify, know and own your identity. Be confident on who you are ousted of going by how other people define you. In other words, do not be a stranger to yourself. Take time to reflect on your values including what is important to you; and what gives your life a meaning. Recognise your non-negotiables and emotional needs. Work on developing your character, identifying the areas that you need to improve on. Be confident in who you are. The Bible reveals that you are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10).

Such self-awareness help you navigate relationships with confidence. You are more likely to make wise decisions when you know what you stand for. By knowing who you are, you are better equipped to build healthy relationships.
