10.03.21 The 1st Practice for Developing Financial Readiness as You Wait
1. Strengthen Financial Communication
In your waiting season, cultivate the discipline of transparent financial communication with relevant people, so that honesty becomes your normal standard. Develop the readiness to share financial information, including spending patterns, obligations, goals and challenges, in appropriate settings where accountability and responsible decision-making are required. Learn to communicate your actual financial position without exaggeration, concealment or embarrassment. Be truthful (Ephesians 4:25).
Organise your finances in a manner that allows you to explain your priorities with clarity. Understand your income structure, financial responsibilities, recurring costs and personal targets so that you are not operating on vague estimates or guesswork. This will prepare you to handle financial discussions responsibly and make decisions that reflect actual circumstances.
