10.02.21 The 3rd Practice for Developing Personal Responsibility and Accountability
3. Practise Reflection and Make Constructive Adjustments
During this season of waiting, maintain the discipline of honest personal reflection whenever outcomes do not match what you agreed upon or what you committed to deliver. Evaluate what was missing, what was delayed and what could have been handled better. This trains you to take responsibility for results, rather than merely explaining and justifying your good intentions. Be ready to examine your ways and assess them (Lamentations 3:40).
Adopt the discipline of making practical adjustments instead of repeating the same mistakes. Improve your planning, strengthen your consistency and apply lessons learned. Gradually, your accountability will be confirmed through consistent correction and measurable progress, not through repeated explanations of your capabilities or talent.
