10.02.23 The 5th Practice for Developing Personal Responsibility and Accountability as You Wait
5. Demonstrate Growth through Consistent Behaviour
As you wait, ensure that your growth is reflected in consistent behaviour. Your accountability must be evident in behaviours such as completing tasks as agreed, communicating early, honouring timelines and correcting mistakes or addressing your weaknesses. Be a model of good works (Titus 2:7), demonstrating maturity through visible conduct.
Strengthen your consistency in both small and significant responsibilities so that people experience your reliability in practical ways. Let people witness your stability through your actions, not just what you say. Such maturity shows that reliability is part of your character, not something you do when expecting to be noticed by a prospective partner.
