04.06.01 Introducing How to Become a Value-Adding Church Member

This chapter highlights how you can add value to your church; which indeed is an extension of Jesus’ mission on earth, as stated in John 10:10. That powerful scripture spells the value that Jesus brought to mankind, churches and church members inclusive. It reads (AMPC): I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). The ‘value’ is encapsulated in one word, ‘eternal life' which is ‘enjoyable’, ‘abundant’ and so ‘full’ that it ‘overflows’. In Matthew 28:17-20, Jesus elaborates the role that you and I have to play in order to support the church’s calling of transforming people to what God wants them to be.
