04.05.04 Eleven Keys for Adding Value to Your Child's Life
How to Add Value to Your Child’s Life
This discussion is about how to increase the worth of your child or add value to his or her life, mainly through instilling ‘life principles’ (otherwise called personal values) or personal standards that guide children to choose right from wrong. The standards determine a child’s behaviour, attitude and decisions; and how she or he relates with family members and other people at school, church, the community and other spaces. For purposes of this discussion, we have referred to those ‘personal values’ or ‘life principles’ as ‘personal standards’. Your child should own and display those standards willingly, independently, diligently and sustainably.
