04.04.17 The 13th Key for Adding Value to Your Husband's Life

13. Display Love and Intimacy

Michal’s love for David was displayed when she opted to betray her father, King Saul in favour of saving her husband’s life (1 Samuel 19:11-17).

A value-adding wife goes beyond just ‘feelings’ to continually display ‘love’ and keep the ‘marriage fire burning’.

Love and intimacy are the foundations of a thriving marriage relationship. When you display love and affection, a husband feels that he is ‘worth loving’; which in essence sends the message that not only is he highly valued by you, but that he is your most favourite and preferred person.

Therefore, be ready to regularly express that you love your husband, through actions and the words you use. Can you plan date-nights or special outings together? It does not necessarily require big events or expensive gifts. Even small and thoughtful gestures and surprises can mean an immense lot.
