08.01.25 The 6th Practice for Developing Intellectual Maturity as You Wait Seek Wise Guidance

6. Seek Wise Guidance

Choose one or two mature believers who can help you process your thoughts and provide counsel. Wisdom often grows through conversation with people who have walked the path before you. Invite their perspective and listen carefully to their observations. Receiving guidance requires humility and responsibility. Mature voices can help you recognise blind spots and view situations more clearly. Proverbs reminds us that “where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). Wise guidance therefore strengthens judgement and supports sound decision-making.
