ne final point. Refusing to engage in negative gossip has some benefits, overarching all those that have been mentioned in this book. When you choose to live a non-gossiping life, you will be accepted in God’s presence. Your worship will be acceptable in His sight. However, if you continue to entertain negative gossip, you will miss out on those benefits. We learn that from Psalm 15 which says (NLT): 1Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?... 3Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. 5...Such people will stand firm forever.
Therefore, set out to live a life free of ‘negative-gossiping’, and you will be empowered to stand firm forever. That is a promise. God’s promise!
