The fact that negative gossip can unsettle a person’s work environment is not a myth, since we experienced that havoc first-hand, when the defamatory rumour that I narrated in chapter one hit our business. You can revisit that story should you need to remind yourself about what happened. However, in a nutshell, the rumour grossly disrupted our workspace.

In this chapter, we discuss how negative gossip can destabilise the space or work environment of an entity. We shall refer to my personal story in addition to Nehemiah’s narrative; as well as the fictitious story of JuaLink Media. This stories are presented in chapter one of this book
