What does one do to avoid engaging in bribery or any other form of corruptive activity?

Every official is expected to have zero-tolerance for any form of corruption.  However, given the challenges mentioned earlier, leading a corruption-free life can be a tall order for some albeit ‘church-going’ people.  So, what does one do to avoid engaging in bribery or any other form of corruptive activity?
