03.02.03 The 1st Part of Daudi's Story
Daudi’s Roots
Daudi grew up in a staunch Christian family, attending Sunday School faithfully, courtesy of his father and mother. The problem though was that he would attend church just to earn points from his parents and make them smile. Little did they know that in the secret of his heart, he was a completely different Daudi. Not only was he bitter, but the boy was jealous of his cousins who lived abroad and seemed to have life easy. “How I wish they would fail…, and be deported back here”, he would maliciously reminisce. “One day…! I will be the wealthiest person in our entire family... owning houses, a transport company, apartments, the biggest commercial farm…. Then I will prove to those arrogant ‘things’ that we are also people”, he would often vow under his breath.
