THE TOOLS

to be covered

Improvements

Pre-course Preparations Made Easier and More Flexible

  • Each group has been allocated Tools to discuss and present. The participants for each group will complete the pre-course preparations for the allocated Tools, before the Face-to-face meeting. The rest of the participants will be given one week (after the face-to-face meetings) to complete and submit their pre-course assignments.

Submission of Progress Reports

  • Rather than sharing all the Progress Reports at the end of Phase 2, participants will submit the Progress Report for each Tool at the end of the implementation phase for the Learning Points of each Tool. This means that participants will have 3 weeks to practice the changes that they will have committed to, before submitting the Progress Report for that Tool.

Catching up on Tools 10-13

  • Tools 10-13 were not completed in Phase 1; and are very important for the participants (i.e. Being Smart and Hardworking; Resourcefulness; Creativity, Innovativeness). Therefore, the first four weeks after the face to face meeting will be devoted to catching up on Tools 10-13 since, practically, the participants can take only one Tool per week.

Role Plays

We have introduced Role Plays for some of the Sessions (see Timetable).

By the end of the training, it is expected that you will be able to:

Define each 'Tool or best practice' and how it applies to your personal situation, work, and other aspects of your environment

Identify the symptoms of bad practices in the workplace

Diagnose the causes of bad practices; and the challenges that lead to the manifestations of those practices

Identify and commit to practical solutions or action(s) for addressing those challenges, so as to display 'best practices' thence 'excellence', in line with the expectations of the clients.
